Dr. Himani Sharma

Dr. Himani Sharma is a dedicated dental professional with a strong focus on gum health, implant care, and advanced periodontal therapy. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Periodontology — a specialized branch of dentistry that focuses on maintaining healthy gums and treating gum and peri-implant diseases.
With extensive clinical experience managing a wide range of complex cases during her academic and professional journey, Dr. Himani Sharma is associated with several reputed dental clinics and hospitals across Delhi NCR. She was formerly associated with Sharda University and now serves as an Associate Professor at SBBDC, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, where she contributes to training and mentoring future dental professionals.
She has 4 published and 1 granted patent on her name. She has authored 4 books and has published more than 30 articles in national and international journals. She has won “Research Excellence Award” awarded by Institute of Scholars in 2020. Her research has won first prize in national conference organized by Indian society of periodontology in basic research category in the year 2017.
